Each enquiry is assessed based on the property, the reported issue, the existing installation and the scope of work required. Before any work begins, we will confirm in writing the agreed scope, price, contractual arrangements, relevant insurance details and any applicable qualification, registration, testing or certification requirements. The combined route can cover a reported electrical fault, damaged fixed electrical points, suitable replacement lighting, external or courtyard lighting improvements, controls, sensors and clearly defined changes to an existing fixed installation. The fittings, supply, switching, cable route, weather exposure, access and intended outcome are considered before the work is agreed. For rented properties, inspection and testing requirements such as an EICR are scoped separately. The responsible contractor, report required, remedial route and any Building Regulations notification or certification arrangements are confirmed for the individual job. Electrical work is carried out exclusively by appropriately qualified and competent electrical specialists authorised for the specific work involved. This is not a general handyman electrical service. Solar PV, battery storage, electric vehicle charging, high voltage systems, alarms and work affected by asbestos risk require separate assessment and are not automatically included.
